WELCOME TO PROMISELAND

Welcome to Promiseland Youth Ministries at Crossroads Community Church. 

Promiseland is an infant and child focused ministry available:
* Sunday 9:00am for infant – kindergarten
* Sunday 10:30am for infant – 8th grade

Our goal in Promiseland is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children.  It is our desire to lead children to Christ’s gift of salvation and a lifetime commitment to Him, while reflecting Jesus Christ through our attitude and behavior in order that we may glorify God.

Our ministry is volunteer based.  Our volunteers rotate on a four-week basis with some serving more than one Sunday per month. Each volunteer team has a team leader who will greet and direct adults and children to their room and provide service where needed.  We always encourage our parents to volunteer in this wonderful ministry. If you are interested, we have a volunteer application for you to fill out and return to either Lynn Carr or Jennifer Johnson. We will be in contact with you for further information.
 
When bringing your child to his/her class, you will sign him/her in on the sign-in sheet at the door of the classroom. Numbered labels for identification are available for you and your child.  If we need to get a hold of you during the service, your child’s number will appear in the side screens in the sanctuary.  When picking up your child, make sure the teacher knows that you are taking your child and that your label matches. 

We also provide televised services in the infant room so parents can comfortably watch the service with their child.  Additionally, there is a sitting area in the library downstairs if your child needs more freedom of movement during the service.
