Mundane

As I was reading my devotional this morning, I was reminded that the majority of the Christian life and how we handle it is found in the mundane moments. The everyday little things we don't really pay much attention to... washing the dishes, doing laundry, working out, going to work, going to the dentist, hauling the kids all over town...

We may not see these as big God moments but this is where life with Him can be the game changer. Anyone can act Christian when people are watching or we are at church, but what about at home or in the car or at the gym?

I am most tested when the computer is running too slow - remember the old days of dial up?

I am most tested when my plans get changed...

I am most tested when no one but God is watching...

What does God see when you are alone?

Psalm 139:23-24 says "Search me, O God, and know my heart;

test me and know my anxious thoughts.

Point out anything in me that offends you,

and lead me along the path of everlasting life."

Letting God search our heart and point out anything that shouldn't be there can be a terrifying thought! But what if it's the most freeing thing you can do?

I encourage you to take this dangerous step with God and make the Mundane moments the most Powerful moments...
